Trade show booth sizes and types
The standard US trade show booth is 10×10 ft. Larger booths are multiples of it: 10×20, 20×20, 20×30, 30×30 and 40×40 ft. The booth type — how many sides face an aisle — decides how tall you can build and how you lay it out.

10×10 booth
The most common trade show booth size in the US — the basic unit every other size is built from.
- 200 sq ft
10×20 booth
Two 10×10 units side by side. Room for a demo zone and a small meeting area.
- 400 sq ft
20×20 booth
The usual entry point for peninsula and island booths.
- 600 sq ft
20×30 booth
A larger island or peninsula with space for separate zones.

30×30 booth
A flagship island booth with room for a theater or presentation area.

40×40 booth
A major-exhibitor island. Often double-deck where the show allows it.
