Exhibition stand sizes and types

At European and UK shows, stands are sold by the square metre. Common sizes are 3×3 m, 6×3 m, 6×6 m and 9×6 m. The stand type — row, corner, peninsula or island — depends on how many sides are open to the aisle.

Shell scheme or space only?

Small stands are often sold as a shell scheme: walls, fascia name board, carpet and lights supplied by the organiser. Larger stands are usually space only (raw space), where you bring a custom or modular build. Compare the two →
